When the base design is ready, we ask the client to take some time to look through and make sure the project is heading in the right direction. Some clients are reluctant to speak their mind and this is bad for them, bad for the project and bad for our teams. We insist that clients receive the initial designs and comment on what they like and what they don’t like. If a client loves the first draft, we drill deep to make sure nothing has been missed. We always encourage clients to take their time and suggest adjustments to the design no matter how minor these might be. This is good practice because it keeps the design team interested and it saves the client money in the long run.
