Creating a poll on WhatsApp using your device is straightforward. Follow these steps:
1. Open WhatsApp
- Launch the WhatsApp app on your device.
2. Go to a Chat
- Open the group chat or individual chat where you want to share the poll.
3. Access the Attachment Menu
- Tap the paperclip icon in the text input area (next to the message bar).
4. Select “Poll”
- In the menu that appears, tap on the Poll option.
5. Create Your Poll
- Enter your question in the “Ask a question” field.
- Add options for the answers by typing them in the fields provided. You can add up to 12 options.
- If needed, enable the Allow multiple answers toggle at the bottom.
6. Share Your Poll
- Once you’re satisfied with your poll, tap the send button (green arrow) to share it in the chat.
7. Monitor Responses
- Group members can vote, and the results will be visible in real-time. To view the details, tap on the poll to see who voted for which option.
If you don’t see the “Poll” option, ensure your WhatsApp app is updated to the latest version via the relevant App store.
